Murmurations returns to Sidney tonight!! 🪶
This one goes darker….and deeper….Chug, grit, tunnelling bass and dark acid - warm, groovier opening then moving into full techno territory as the night unfolds 〰️〰️
Introducing the DJs taking you through the journey tonight ✨
🪶 Isis Moray
Headlining Murmurations is
@isismoray - with a heady mix of grit and groove, diving deep into house, tech-house, techno and dark acid. Expect the darker edges of her signature sound.
Having played with Algorythm, Black Beacon Sound, Fixate and Zone 88 - her versatility behind the decks reflects a constant, curious exploration of sound. Beyond DJing, she’s also a live act and producer, currently working on new releases for With Bells Records.
Founder of Holy Crow Records and supporting heavyweights such as Boddika, A Guy Called Gerald and Carla Dal Forno, Isis Moray continues to push her craft forward - driven by a deep commitment to music, exploration and connection.
🪶Paniolo
Co-founder of the queer friendly collective Orange Room,
@dj_paniolo has a penchant for trippy chug, woven textures, slow acid, tunnelling basslines & blending dark and light as energy ebbs and flows.
Not one to be corralled by any genre, he ranges from EBM, ballearica, and progressive & techy house, techno, and trance (rarely exceeding 130BPM) - taking much of his inspiration from psychedelic rock and curators such as Dresden, A Love From Outer Space, and Optimo.
🪶Mashytka
On warm up duties we have
@mashytka_0 (aka Masha) who is a monthly resident on Kitchen Radio, hosting the soul, funk, and jazz-focused show Bangers n Mash. With their roots as a broadcaster first and foremost, Mashytka takes inspiration from names such as Ruby Savage and Haseeb Iqbal, with most of their selections lying within the intersection of jazz, funk, soul, house and dub- occasionally stirring into higher tempo genres such as break-beat and jungle.
