New SPND20 Mixtape just landed, welcome @olateks ! 📼 Resident of Warsaw’s Jasna 1 and driving force behind the legendary Move Mózg series, Ola Teks has been shaping Poland’s electronic scene with sets that flow between deep techno and classic house - always guided by intuition and emotion. Recognized by platforms like Boiler Room, Arte Concert, and Mixmag, she’s built a reputation for turning every dancefloor into a story. Her SPND20 mix is both a showcase of her own sound and a tribute to the spirit of the Spandau family, whose energy has accompanied her since the very start. Fittingly, Ola was the first to bring FJAAK & SPANDAU20 abroad, booking us in Poland back in 2011/2012 - a milestone that still means a lot to us today. Recorded at home in Warsaw, the mix begins with an intimate glow, rises into full club intensity, and lands gently back down. Along the way: spacious textures, tribal grooves, melancholic-yet-uplifting energy, timeless gems like I:Cube’s 11 Novembre, fresh fire from BAUGRUPPE90 and Cult, an unreleased track by Contakt, plus local heat from 2shy of Privet Press. Still can’t believe I got to play my set at the magical @garbicz_festival 💫 Finding out I’d be on the Wiese stage, at such a perfect time, with such dope line up was a big honor. Yes, there are a few tiny technical mistakes(only noticed them at home 😅) but in the moment it was all pure flow. Huge love to everyone who danced with me — seeing so many familiar faces honestly melted my heart ❤️ P.S. you’ll also hear the crowd’s energy on the recording, because the mic was catching it all. There aren't many people you can say without hyperbole are big parts of their local scene, big parts of shaping a culture of a country. But this is who Ola is. This is what she does. As a resident of Jasna1 (the most relevant club in Poland) and 1/2 of Move Mozg agency, she is instrumental in shaping the tastes and curating sounds of electronic music in Poland. As a DJ, she can hang with the best in the business, playing events like Boiler Room or on big stages like Garbicz Festival with ease. She plays instinctually, not just dropping the same 20 tracks - but instead tailoring her performances to the venue, time, and vibe of the event. This is what years of being a resident DJ does for your skill set. Of course, Ola has had these skills for years. So I was very proud to have her in the studio a couple weeks back. There are a lot of interesting talents in PL - Błażej Malinowski, MKO, and Private Press to name a few - and we are proud to present an hour of Ola's deep techno vibes as a testament to the quality level and power of this sort of scene.
