My forever Mary, my @masonalexanderpark . It isn’t possible to articulate what this journey with you has meant to me. You are a wonder, an impossible force and a deeply stupid bitch. Sharing that stage with you is one of the greatest privileges of my life. I have grown immensely as an artist and a human being from our time spent on and offstage. Your departure will leave a chasm in our company that can never be filled. I cannot bear that you are leaving; who will hurl abuse at me on the daily? Who will keep us from getting too sentimental? Who will I eat a dirty Five Guys with after a double show day? Although I mourn your soon-departing-genius-incomparable Mary, I celebrate my find in you, Mason. I really believe that this play will always be for the beautiful little weirdos of the world: the misfits, the outcasts and sparkliest of people - you’re the only people I ever want to hang out with.
