Our Chief Privacy Officer Arielle Garcia spoke at @advertisingweek today about how innovations in contextual advertising are driving better results than cookie-based solutions. “People used to say that there’s a tradeoff between privacy and personalization, and between privacy and business outcomes,” she said. “The way we view it is that these things are inherently symbiotic. What’s right for consumers and aligns with their expectations is the same as what drives outcomes for brands, and all of that, in turn, will align with the expectations of regulators. That’s the exciting thing about the alignment that’s happening now.”
