Darwin Red Carpet opening for #NorthernTerritory edition of @niffaustralia was a cinematic bliss. First ever annual Indian film festival in #Darwin, one of the most iconic open air cinemas @deckchair_cinema , with the mesmerising Darwin sunset, first Indian film to win a @bafta #Boong by ever inspiring @excelmovies and an encouraging turnout of ministers , community leaders, members of parliament, and film lovers of all backgrounds on what was a tough day for Northern Territory. Thank you for all your love, support, and guidance 🙏

Of all the wonderful enriching experiences with community...culture...through cinema in this paradise we call #australia the most exhilarating...intoxicating are ones not tried before ...boldly going where no annual Indian film festival has gone before 🤣. On a high as we bring the first ever outback and Darwin edition of @niffaustralia and have meaningful conversations on film links between NT and India in an Aus India coproduction era..thank you @consulategeneralofindiaperth

Thank you to our supporters who backed us this year to champion local filmmakers, First Nations voices, and bring massive cinema to Central Australia. MASIFF’s second year was supported by @diff_nt , @ntgovernment Community Benefit Fund, and @qantas whose sponsorship was much more than just funding a festival. It has helped to strengthen our creative communities, open doors for new work, and share the landscapes, humour and heart of the desert. 📷 Jez Smith Photography

A huge thank you to all the festivals that have screened The Fix-It-Man And The Fix-It-Wooman over the past couple of years. It’s been a joy to share the film with audiences around the country. We’re so grateful to everyone who came along to watch and support the work. 🏆 @flickerfest 2025 — Yoram Gross Award for Best Australian Animated Short 🏆 @melbfilmfest 2025 — The Uncle Jack Charles Award (@yarrenyty__arltere for Art Direction)

Two weeks ago I was up in the Territory at @diff_nt 🎬 & repping SGE at the NT Summit hosted by Screen Territory. It has taken me 2 weeks to recover from what was a very huge whirlwind trip of many, many screenings, networking, long days out on country in the heat, and animal sounds all night long 🌾💀 Needless to say, I'm still sort of knackered! There are some pretty exciting projects to come, stay tuned👀
