The
@dorisdukefdn is driven by a mission to build a more creative, equitable, and sustainable future, working across three areas of focus: Arts & Culture, Nature, and Health & Well-being. Through initiatives such as the Doris Duke Artist Awards, the Building Bridges Fellowship, climate-smart forestry, Indigenous-led conservation, and breakthrough medical research, the Foundation fosters ideas that take shape through people—and ultimately take root in the world.
@pentagramdesign and
@decimal_studios collaborated with the Foundation on a new website that brings this mission to life. Anchored by the new brand statement, “Dare Differently,” the site places the Foundation’s big ideas front and center, showing how they are cultivated, supported, and realized through vital work on the ground.
The design builds on the Foundation’s visual identity developed by
@jabbottmiller and team, which features a bold, dimensional “D” with a dynamic counter that swings through the letterform. On the site, these counterspaces are reimagined as windows for imagery—revealing stories, programs, and impact.
A vibrant color palette distinguishes each strategic priority, while expressive, graceful motion and elegant typography work together to create a sense of openness and momentum. Engaging photography underscores the idea that the most powerful illustration of the Foundation’s reach is the work itself.
