Still a little stunned by the past couple of weeks. Moon of Another Earth has been the most incredible show I have ever had—thank you from the bottom of my heart to old friends, new friends, fellow artists, collectors, and so many others from this community for your support.
I can’t express how grateful I am, for everything.
Thank you one more time to @scartscomm for backing the project and and the vision behind it, to @benjaminpaulstudio for graciously hosting in the beautiful @noblestudioschs and to @__paperweight for helping make everything a reality.
And to @djnormalgirl69 for a truly unforgettable soundtrack to opening night. To @wakerefill for helping make us sustainable, and to @tuckawaycoffee for conjuring the Beans of Another Earth!

THIS FRIDAY, March 20
Join us for Moon of Another Earth, a solo exhibition by our very own
Paperweight member Mat Duncan (@dat_muncan ).
We’ve been prepping for the show and are so excited to gather with
everyone again. Mat’s newest body of work, painted on reclaimed,
hand-shaped panels, draws from the flora and ecology of the Southeast.
Pretty soon the work will be up, the chip bowl will be filled, and the
bar will be set and ready for us to party.
Speaking of the bar… our community bar is in need of a little
replenishing! If you’ve got an extra bottle or some beers you’d like
to bring, we’d really appreciate it ❤️
Moon of Another Earth is supported by a grant from the South Carolina
Arts Commission and hosted by Benjamin Paul Studio.

Meet our very own Paperweight member Mat Duncan (@dat_muncan ), whose upcoming solo exhibition Moon of Another Earth (3/20) brings together a new body of paintings rooted in the flora and ecology of the Southeast.
Working on reclaimed wood to create hand-shaped panels, Duncan’s paintings transform native stems, grasses, and fauna into gestural compositions with both weight and delicacy.
