Kris is just the best! Truly. We met at her solo show at Redux in February of '25 and I now wonder how we hadn't been introduced before. @kriswhanson contains multitudes. I've seen her photography, assemblage, and fiber art. All of which have been fabulous and thought provoking! Fun fact, she also bought the first silver spoon ring I ever sold (I think)! I have gotten to know her a bit over the past year by seeing her at art events and we even get our hair cut by the same person, the lovely @yourmanegirlpenny ! Not only is Kris an exceptionally kind human, she is a big supporter of everyone in the community.

Stepping outside of her comfort zone of working with fused glass, @tanyacraig1 has created some super fun pieces with her box of swapped supplies for the 5th installment of Second Life shows. I love that her whimsical style and playful nature is still present, even though she isn't creating with her favorite medium. Tanya has created another epic piece for the show, but I am keeping that one a surprise!
