Happy birthday to my best friend @dylansevey . I don’t know how it’s been 12 years of friendship, from Newport to Denver to now finally living in the same city. How I got so lucky to have you in my life, I’ll never know. So glad I pointed at you and laughed all those years ago and you somehow decided that first impression was good enough to stick it out with me this entire time. Wanting to share a massive thank you to numero uno, Mr Splitty @johnsplithoff and our killer band @iamtonina , @think_say_do , @xtianalmiron for such a fantastic couple of runs this past year.
Our spring tour made such an impact on my life, and truly put the trajectory of my entire year in motion.
I’m so glad we got to reunite the whole crew in the fall, and getting to do those solo dates, just Splitty & Diesel were really something special.
Also shoutout to @victoriaroe for helping me with additional connections and more work to round out my year. I’m so grateful for you.
It was such a fantastic reminder of why I do what I do and reignited my passion for touring and the whole point of it all. I love touring. I love live music. I love being around artists who get to perform their craft each night. I love getting to be a small part of their journey.
All I want is to keep touring, growing and learning. I am functioning at my peak when I am doing what I love, and I want to ride 🐎 into this new year with the force and energy that this past year has given me.

I was on a flight layover after ending another tour, heading to NY for Thanksgiving and worried about the uncertainty of my December and upcoming months as far as work goes when I got word that the band needed a last minute TM.
I’m SO glad they invited me along to join this run. I was already a fan of the music and to get to know these incredible humans and musicians over these 3 weeks was such a joy! I feel so proud of what we accomplished in such a tight period of time! So many miles driven, 11 shows and 3 radio sessions (including my first official KEXP!!)

I felt like I was knocked back into shape and out of a funk I was feeling due to some other touring trauma this year, and I have that extra pep in my step again.
I hope we can do it all again someday, thank you all forever 🥹🥰
Another lap around the sun. Coming in hot with a full blood moon today. 37 has arrived.
This last year of life has been the most wild yet, to say the least. I’ve been met with the biggest obstacles, changes and amazing opportunities in just a 365 day span that many don’t encounter in a lifetime.
To be as brief as possible: I uprooted after 11 years in Denver and spent a few months floating about in the Fall of ‘24. An opportunity presented itself to finally be brave enough to make a big leap and head out.
I did my first European/UK tour in Nov/Dec, that was just the best thing ever. Hitting a goal I’ve had since I first started TMing. Spending so much time abroad was the best I’ve felt in ages.
Following that I began the new year officially living in Nashville, eventually completely moving here and living alone for the first time in my adult life. Rolling solo for the last year for the first time since I was 30 has also been an interesting journey. Working on regaining my fiercely stubborn independence that I seemed to lose a bit and remember who I am. Trying to find a sparkle that’s felt faded for many years now (still working on all that).
Then of course I was presented with another incredible touring opportunity for the springtime, that still holds the warmest place in my heart. (And I cannot wait to reunite with the gang for another tour this Fall).
Early summer I was back and forth to Colorado working festivals and somehow working for Phish, while also hitting my 80th show. Those weeks were such a highlight. My brain felt so good.
So many more things in between but that’s just been a brief wrap on the year! Things have been all over the place. Mental jumping jacks. Ups and downs. Downs and downs. The constant balance of being outgoing and staying in a shell. The tightrope walk of working too hard or hardly working.
It’s all been one crazy year and life. Trying to heal and put in the work, and also wanting to expand my knowledge and grow in my work!
But hey, you haven’t gotten rid of me yet!
I hope for so many more things to come.
I’m excited for so many things ahead!

Thankful for touring and the jobs I’ve had the opportunity to work. Looking forward to more of that, especially to go back out with the Ezra Furman gang this week. Thankful for the few friends I’ve still got and the people who have lent me a shoulder. And especially thankful for the people who have worked so hard to make sure I have a good time this week. I guess I’ll give this year a shot, why not?
