May is here, and for us Venezuelans, it’s a very important month because we celebrate a religious and cultural festival throughout the month, declared a Cultural Heritage in 2014. These traditional nighttime celebrations include prayers, folk songs, décimas , fulias, cuatro, maracas, and drums.

@juandiegovibes and I have a project called Cantos, we recorded an album two years ago, which you can find on all digital platforms. On this album, titled Vol. 1, we recorded our version of one of the most representative fulía rhythms of this tradition, Juliana.
