Viriditas is an old term for the life force behind growth. I built this piece like a cross-section, layering forms that hint at earth, roots, and bloom. The colors move from dense and grounded to brighter and lighter, much like the energy of flora pushing upward, all tied together by gold rings. At its essence, it’s about growth and renewal.

@SouthSaltLake went all in, and DAAS's design, "Flourish," perfectly captures the spirit of our city. Featuring our beautiful mountains and a resilient prickly pear, it represents the growth and drive of the "little city that could."
