The digital ravine has overflowed and bubbled over. Diasporic technomancers have found him. NET GALA. Hard drives, eyes and hearts distort, flutter and glitch off of what H34VEN0N34RTH and Cynetic have identified. As one of the driving forces who spearhead the underground club scene of the city of Seoul, NET GALA distorts the conventional language of electronic music. Pulsating drum patterns and mercurial sonic elements amalgamate inside the South Korean producer’s body of work, raising questions about identity, queer culture, body politics, co-founding Gwangheungchang, and receiving a Korean Music Award for Best Electronic Album in 2025 with his first full-length album [GALAPAGGOT]. Live sets by Three Mothers as well as performance brought to you in collaboration between Ether and Ethan. DJ sets by Cristea, Cynetic, 非 Fēi and know.clu, bridging the underground scenes of Naarm and Korea. A writhing digital installation by Lucian and a joint visual work by both know.clu and Cynetic. A night of experimental industrial and deconstructed club music, with a focus on the asian underground diaspora connecting through culture, music and dance. Watch the full short film on Youtube. ‘Between’ suggests a mapping of interconnected systems, dissecting the interaction and mirroring of worlds. Layering of imagery provides a visual depiction of how multiplicity governs our worlds, helping us to deconstruct systems through the understanding of their essence. Through depicting the cyborgian nature of life systems, one can view themselves as part of a larger interconnected system that is constantly being effected, pushed and pulled, sparked by different energetical matters. Maybe once all systems are deconstructed, we are able to recognise our inherent alikeness and attunement to living begins around us, rebuilding from understandings of care and empathy. There always lies a between, a path of understanding and in between in each network, a space where transformation occurs. A transformation of constant becoming, ever flowing dynamic assemblage. Series of recent work: 1-3. Voyager at Flower Club. Audio Reactive visual made from changing parameters in an equation, as well as another iteration of #Surveillancecore pt 1. (collaborative work with Kilian Hoppner, 2024). Loved combining new media art in a dance/ party context. 4-6. Ohmu's Eye for Bugskin, Platform Presents. Humans have tried to confine nature, peer at it through a microscope and detach themselves from the environment . Ohmu’s Eye questions this relationship, mimicking a microscopic lens of plant cells. However, the cell view is unable to be confined seeping into the atmosphere, leaking out of the dome. My first time building with a sculptural medium for installation. 7-8. Dreamache x Ethereal Club at the Grace Darling Basement. Experimenting with flowers blossoming and growing, playing with light and space. 9. Finance Team @ Misc. Iteration of a pattern made with visual synths that has become a big inspiration for the equation work I do now. 10.
