NEXT UP with our friends @criprave … 𓇼 E.C.H.O. x Crip Rave 𓇼 SATURDAY, AUGUST 2 GOWER STREET UNITED CHURCH featuring: ✦ Ruf Dug (Manchester) ✦ @rufdug , the Manchester-via-Ibiza producer, DJ, label boss, NTS radio host, record store owner, computer game freak and vinyl digger melds balearica, street soul, 16-bit and everything in between for labels like Rhythm Section, Futureboogie and his own Ruf Kutz. ✦ Richard (Montréal) ✦ @nestce.pas is an artist out of Montréal who has released music as Richard, Richard Lamb, and DJ Medallion, and is a member of Library L’amour and Mild Drama, with recent features on records from Pondlicker (Naff), Any (Sferic), and Addy Weitzman. True to his genre-jumping discography, his DJ sets are varied and eclectic, playing anything from house and techno to IDM, dubstep, minimal wave, and whatever else interests him in that given week.  ✦ Mutually Feeling (Montréal) ✦ @mutually_feeling is the lovechild of Ariana Molly and Connor McComb (PULSUM). Established on accident in 2017, while experimenting with the collision of Connor’s techno and Ariana’s spoken word, the duo subsequently released their seminal album “Intertwined” (2019) with Australian label, Esoteric Exports. Spontaneously accepting occasional live shows and DJ sets, the project moonlights as a  creative outlet to the pairs’ personal artistic practices.  ✦ DJ Crip Time (Toronto) ✦ @stefanafratila is a Romanian-born artist based in Toronto, Canada. Under her alias DJ Crip Time, she has appeared on NTS Radio (London), Rinse France (Paris), The Lot (New York), Refuge Worldwide (Berlin), Radio Nopal (CDMX), HKCR (Hong Kong), n10.as (Montréal), SutroFM (San Francisco), and Hotel Radio Paris. She is also the co-founder of Crip Rave along with R. 🎧 Meet our PopExperimental Jury and apply by July 15 for the Giga-Hertz Award! • Crip Rave, founded in 2019 by Renee Dumaresque and Stefana Fratila, was the first collective of its kind, prioritizing accessibility in rave and nightlife spaces with a focus on Crip culture. • Joseph Kamaru aka KMRU is a Nairobi-born, Berlin-based sound artist whose work explores field recording, noise, and sound art. • Emeka Ogboh engages with place through all five human senses and has exhibited at documenta, the Venice Biennale, and the Dakar Biennale. • Dr. Lea Luka Sikau, as Curator for Music and Sound Art at the ZKM | Hertzlab, shapes the sonic profile of artistic research and sound programming. • Dr. Alexander Paeffgen is Professor of Composition, Music Theory, and Piano at the Popakademie Baden-Württemberg. 🎶 This is your chance to present your work to an international audience and become part of the Giga-Hertz Festival 2025.
