I can’t believe i was at the hospital just a few hours before. It was a very minor accident but I kept the bracelet to remind myself to take it slow. Never forget.

This is me, my mom and my daughter at the show CONNY - TO LIVE ON IN NEW SPACES

We organised this exhibition together. It came from a deeply personal place. Conny was a friend of my mother and I knew her since childhood. With this small show we wanted to share her work a little beyond her hometown.

I’m happy to announce the upcoming solo exhibition “Conny – to live on in new spaces”, showcasing selected works by Cornelia Effner (1955–2023) at Open Tiny, Neukölln.
This exhibition is very close to my heart. I grew up with Conny, and her art has always been part of my life. It means a lot to me to share her work with Berlin and let it live on in new spaces.
Alongside the exhibition, performances by Toni Plantsch, Nina Plášková, Marlies + Selma Pahlenberg, Shirin Barthel, Keanu Sapadi, Leo Börger, Eileen Lofink, and Anna Schall will take place over the three days.
Opening: Friday, November 21, 6–10 PM
Opening hours: November 22–23, 2–7 PM
Location: Open Tiny, Neukölln
Free entrance
All exhibited works are for sale — a unique opportunity to acquire and continue the legacy of Cornelia Effner’s art.
A catalog accompanying her work will be available on-site and in selected bookstores, including Walther König and the Neues Museum Nürnberg.
