Longing for a Hero 🗡️ 🩶🗡️🩶🗡️ 2025
Italian stainless steel fabric (deadstock), mohair, black-glazed porcelain, metal chains This new  work revisits the figure of Saint George – – a story that has shifted for centuries between history, myth, and symbolism. This work translates this symbolism into a personal, fairy-tale aesthetic. My goal is to tell my own story, which is visually articulated like a mythology of its own and speaks to viewers through its atmosphere. These worlds are created by combining textile elements in contrast to ceramics and metals, strong tactile surfaces. Longing for a Hero is therefore not a retelling of an old legend but a new mythology: a layered, textile narrative that speaks of hope, vulnerability, and the enduring power of believing in the fantastic. Shown at True Belief Exhibition in Marseille at @agent_troublant with @erratum_projects , off-site program of @artorama_marseille Picture: @lukaperkinspetit

i wish i never found out, 2024 steel, magnet, silk, lace On show at Kaugummi im Motherboard at @gr_und curated by @quelish @erratum_gallery until 11/01/25 This installation presents a kind of “love dialogue” between artificial intelligence and human sensuality in four acts. On polished steel plates, banal symbols of supposed affection embody an artificial intelligence writing love letters to someone: confessions of love for conquest, romantic surprises, tender messages of affection, and apologies after conflict. A relationship in four acts between human and AI. These precise, pixelated motifs, engraved into cold metal, reflect the calculated affection of AI and stand in sharp contrast to the soft, flowing silk, which represents the warm, sensual, yet also desperate essence of human emotion. A “love dialogue” emerges between artificial precision, calculation, and probability on the one hand, and human sensuality, loneliness, and the search for genuine affection on the other. The work questions the authenticity of AI and its ability to provide emotional bonds within a technology-driven era and a pure commercial model in which loneliness and the desire for love are exploited. On a symbolic and tactile level, it explores the tension between simulated feelings and the human longing for real connection. The work moves between technological, immaterial, and physical, organic worlds, portraying a purposeless love story. Photographer @viktor_nikishov_

JACKPOT — OPEN CALL Marseille — Art-O-Rama OFF 2026 JACKPOT is a group exhibition by Erratum Projects in collaboration with Agent Troublant, hosted at the Société des Architectes in Marseille. The project explores how artistic careers are built today — between work, visibility, networks and chance. Berlin and Marseille are our reference points. Both cities were shaped by artists and are now becoming more expensive, more visible, and increasingly driven by real estate and external investment. Studios disappear, rents rise, and the image of the city is sold faster than the city itself. At the same time, the art world expands — fairs grow, galleries arrive — but not always for those who built the scene. JACKPOT looks at this system from inside. We’re looking for works engaging with luck, money, value, success and failure, gentrification, speculation, urban change, visibility, exclusion and survival. All mediums welcome, including installation, performance, video, sound and interactive works. Selected artists will exhibit. One wins the Grand Prize. €10 application ticket (or free for those who‘s in a hard financial situation) Marseille — Société des Architectes Aug 27–31, 2026 Deadline: May 22 Apply now — link in bio.

CURATOR’S CHOICE - «EROS» by Lara Rhodeo @rhodeeo ✦✦✦✦✦ «Eros, understood as a feeling of lack, drives humans to desire what they do not have. The pursuit of what is unattainable is a central aspect of the human experience of love and desire. This constant striving and sense of absence make Eros a state of perpetual longing. Another essential feature of Eros is the paradox of closeness and distance: the longing for the beloved arises from separation and the desire for intimacy. Yet, the fulfillment of this longing can diminish the desire itself. The bittersweet nature of Eros can lead to obsession. The obsessive lover experiences the joy and excitement of love while simultaneously feeling the pain of rejection and unfulfillment. The intense yearning for the unattainable person amplifies this bittersweet sensation. The phenomenon of placing the beloved on a pedestal can be understood as a projection of idealized notions. This work reconstructs the space of desire—like a small, complete tableau of the erotic dilemma.» ✦✦✦✦✦
