As the wind drifts through sunlit grass and the sky stretches wide and clear, a quiet stillness settles across the landscape. Pumas can be seen in all their power and majesty across Torres del Paine.
Filmmaker Ann Johnson-Prum recently shared new footage of these elusive cats in their natural habitat, a rare glimpse into their untamed world and the efforts to protect it.

In the heart of Torres del Paine, a powerful story unfolds. 🎬 The Wild Heart of Patagonia is a breathtaking documentary filmed in our Conservation Reserve that explores the delicate balance between human life and wild nature.
With the help of Romina Da Pieve, our Conservation Manager, Ann Johnson-Prum’s film follows gauchos, local ranchers, puma biologists, and the ecotourism community as we work together to protect one of the planet’s most remote destinations.
More than a story of conservation, it’s a call to reimagine our relationship with the wild and a reminder that coexistence is not only possible, but essential.

Tune in tomorrow night for Bugs That Rule the World Part 2 Lifegivers. We dive into the world of insect pollinators from moths, to butterflies to all kinds of bees and the people who study them most closely and are concerned about their survival.
@exploraconservation@coneflower_studios
