All smiles for Mother Earth ✨🌱🌎 Thank you to everyone who attended LA Climate Week 2025! It was an incredible week (and month) of thoughtful discussions, plant-based food, lively entertainment, and inspiring community events. Collidescope Foundation is proud to have created a movement in Los Angeles that unites Angelenos for environmental awareness. It is Collidescope’s core mission to encourage connectivity and create impact through collective power and community-led initiatives. The Jane Goodall Institute—official organizing partner of LA Climate Week 2025—brought a powerful call to climate action rooted in their youth program, Roots & Shoots, which supports young changemakers who are taking action for people, other animals, and the planet. In Los Angeles, their Roots & Shoots Basecamp serves as a local hub for youth-led environmental action, community building, and education—proving that hope is not passive, it’s a choice we make every day. This year’s theme of “Future Proofing & Resilience” reflected upon disaster relief post LA wildfires, driving community wellness, resilience, environmental restoration, and sustainable infrastructure development. Whether you rolled up your sleeves to clean up a local waterway, sampled delicious plant-based delights, listened to a thoughtful panel discussion, or sparked a new connection during a creative activity, our teams are beyond grateful for you all. Together, LA showed up, took action, and proved that when it comes to climate, community leads the way. 💚 Our LA Climate Week team is looking forward to engaging with community members for climate resilience and advocacy year-round and for LA Climate Week 2026. Keep an eye out for future announcements on how you can get involved! 📣🤗 Photo credits: Photos 1, 3, 5, 6, 7, 9, 10: @__avvs__ Photos 2, 4, 8: @hey.climate #LAClimateWeek #LACW2025 #ClimateAction #LosAngeles #LA28 #DrJaneGoodall

🌿🌱 Designing LA’s Climate Future — Together 🌎 This week, members of our team had the pleasure and honor of attending two inspiring events marking the start of @laclimateweek 🪴 🇧🇪 First, we joined a reception hosted by Sophie Hottat, Consul General of Belgium, organized in close collaboration with the trade agencies of @wallonia_export_awex & @flandersinvestmenttrade and with the support of our founding member @druvenadvocacy . The event brought together partners, innovators, and stakeholders active in climate and sustainability, highlighting the essential role of international collaboration in addressing global climate challenges. 🌱🌍 🤝 We also had the opportunity to attend the official kickoff and networking event at the magnificent @ebellofla , a remarkable space powered by women, for women, dedicated to advancing the legacy of women’s contributions to society, business, art, education, and culture, and led by Dr. Stacy Brightman. 🌎 The #LAClimateWeek (April 8–15) brings together innovators, organizers, artists, policymakers, and community members from across the city to imagine and build a thriving climate future. This year’s theme, “Designing Our Climate Future, Together,” is a powerful call for collaboration, creativity, and collective action across more than 280 events. 💡 Through ambitious national and regional policies, #Belgium continues to invest in renewable energy, sustainable mobility, energy efficiency, and clean technologies, while actively supporting companies developing climate-positive solutions. 🌱🌿 🙏🏻 A sincere thank you to the organizers for including BELWEST in these meaningful gatherings that are so important for strengthening our business and sustainability community. 🌍💚 📸 @belgiumlosangeles | @collidescopefoundation

Introducing LA Climate Week to you, in a whole new way 💚 This is our moment to design the future, together. LA Climate Week (April 8–15, 2026) is a region-wide week of climate action, creativity, and community. It’s built by and for everyone across LA: residents, students, businesses, faith communities, artists, and civic leaders, who believe that how we show up for this place shapes what it becomes. You don’t have to be an expert. You just have to care about the place we call home. “Every day, every one of us can make a difference, and we have a choice as to what kind of difference we’re going to make.” Today, we mourn the loss of Dr. Jane Goodall, renowned conservationist, champion for animal rights, and UN Messenger of Peace. Dr. Goodall’s sincere dedication to preserving the natural world has inspired millions to take action and make our planet a better place. Her trailblazing research in animal behavior and tireless humanitarian work through @janegoodallinst and @rootsandshoots leaves us with a legacy of compassion, empathy, and hope. The Collidescope Foundation & LA Climate Week are honored to have worked with the Jane Goodall Institute and Roots & Shoots teams to unite Los Angeles for environmental awareness. We look forward to honoring Dr. Goodall’s legacy by supporting community-led action for climate resilience. Let us honor Dr. Goodall by celebrating her work and realizing our own potential to create change. ✨🌱🌎 📸 Photography: @__avvs__

Too many sustainability initiatives are created top-down — without asking the people most impacted. The real change happens when we listen first. Community-led solutions ensure sustainability efforts are rooted in local needs, culture, and wisdom. 🎙 Hear more on the Artful Impact Podcast — link in the @artful.impact bio! Art has the power to transmute grief into beauty. In Altadena, six months after the Eaton fires, we came together to create a mural that became more than paint on a wall — it became a collective prayer. Every brushstroke held our intentions, every word sealed in gold a reminder that healing is possible when we do it together. This mural filled our hearts with joy, connection, and unity. Thank you to the beautiful souls who showed up, stood in the fire of remembrance, and transformed it into love. And deep gratitude to the organizations who made this possible: @climatedesignersla @laclimateweek @collidescopefoundation @plantbasedtreatyla @plantbasedtreaty @soulforceproject @supportandfeed @veggiegrill @ganahllumberco @beewali_vegan_af @graphenstone @altadenarecoveryteam #ArtForTheEarth #PrayerPainting #ImpactArtist #CommunityHealing #AltadenaStrong #EnvironmentalArt #SocialPracticeArt #UnityThroughArt #ArtfulImpact
