The team at Soul Force has been working so hard to get to this off the ground but this SUNDAY, April 19th will be our THIRD annual, Altadena Earth Day from 3pm-7pm at the beautiful property located at 280 Crosby St! Event is FREE! Expect the bestest vibes!
We will have around two dozen environmentally-conscious non-profits, orgs, businesses and art workshops there like Altadena Green and Wild, 1000 Voices, School of Self Reliance, Altadena Farmer’s Market, United Nations Pasadena, CalPoly Pomona, Dena Hive, Plant Based Treaty, My Tribe Rise and so many more!
There will also be plenty of vegan food and some of the best local musicians around like Mayeya, Earthseed Band, Los Cambalache, Baba Onochie Chukwurah, Danzantes de la Vida with speaker Yancy “YD” Comins.

We were so excited to once again collaborate with @soulforceproject@unausapasadena@mytriberise and many more organizations on bringing to life this community event!

Featuring plant-based food from @theveganjoint@fresca_sigflvrs 💚
Together we served over 200 plant-based meals which saved over 100k gallons of water compared to animal product alternatives.

Join us for an all-levels Afro-Latin drumming workshop exploring rhythms and songs rooted in the African diaspora of Latin America. Through traditional repertoire, call-and-response, and ensemble playing, participants will learn foundational rhythmic concepts while connecting rhythm, voice, and movement. The workshop emphasizes groove, listening, cultural context, and community-building through collective music-making.
