TEARS, OVERWHELM, AND LOVE. What a night! Queer joy is an act of resistance and @transmissionlive at @ovoarena was our way of saying enough is enough. It’s hard to describe how meaningful it was to see so many incredible artists come together for the trans community and perform to a packed out arena. Thank you to the organisers first and foremost for your hard work, empathy, and commitment to amplifying our trans voices. All the love to @glynfussell and team @mightyhoopla , @ollyalexanderr and team @martha_kinn , @mjmjs , @kinndredmgmt , as well as @danistjames , @notaphaseorg and @goodlawproject , who we raised funds for. Such a highlight to perform with @ollyalexanderr again and @imogenheap for the first time, walking in the footsteps of our parent choir @lcvchoir , which was originally formed at the behest of Imogen back in 2010. Incredible also to feel the love and support from legends and leaders fighting the good fight like @ianmckellen and @greenpartyzack . Special shoutout to @160dlstudios and @alexclap for hosting our rehearsals at your gorgeous space as well. To bring it back to @transvoicesuk , we (@codanicolaeff and @hausofila ) had the honour of inviting eighteen trans singers to take part in the show.
