BRITISH VOGUE
God, I don’t know where to start on this one.
When we launched Misfits a few years ago, it was in immediate response to the overwhelming amount of requests that we were getting from our community for self-defence classes. A sad reality of the current climate, we knew that we could one-up this and create a place for the community to thrive whilst getting fit and healthy, all whilst connecting with people like themselves and feeling a little less isolated.
Misfits is the complete brain child and the 7-day-a-week job of my Alix, who asked himself what he could do to help and in doing so, has created a weekly lifeline for over 500 active service users of Misfits, spilt across 6 UK locations. I am endlessly proud of you @11th.day
Two years ago the team at Nike London got in touch to ask what they could do to help us and after consistently supporting us since then this year we became official community partners. I never shy away from telling people of the respect I have for the team at Nike, they walk-the-walk way before talking-the-talk and their team are the epitome of allyship. Our eternal gratitude is for Heta, Janine and the many others that make our work possible year round.
Thank you to the Misfits that took part in this shoot, we love you and are so pleased to have you as part of our extended family, to British Vogue whose team is a literal army and to Munroe, you made this so easy, I’m so glad to call you a friend.
I’m all emosh, sorry for the essay, off to cry for a bit xx
Times Square! 🥲🇺🇸
I’m so honoured to have been chosen as one of the eight women creating change around the world by @bumble to celebrate International Women’s Day.
This is all part of a wider initiative that Bumble have launched to elevate the work of the next generation of organisations that are creating a better tomorrow.

Dani St James and Amy Zing present The Biggest, Gayest Party In The World in celebration of Margate Pride’s 10th birthday.
Picture the scene: Pride night in Margate. The sun is setting over the sea, your outfit is borderline irresponsible, and you’re following the giant gloriously phallic Lido sign towards the Drillshed. In the distance? A bassline. Is it Jessie Ware? Wait.. no.. it’s Kylie Minogue. Hang on… now it’s Robyn. Perfect.
Outside: 8,000 gays, lesbians, dolls, divas and disco sluts smoking fags on deckchairs and screaming “BABE!” every three seconds. Inside: pure unfiltered queer chaos. The stage explodes with the beauty and brilliance of The Cocoa Butter Club while a line-up of iconic DJs deliver wall-to-wall pop, disco and euphoric dancefloor bangers to send our 10th Pride out exactly how it deserves. Speaking of pride, get ready for a party with a purpose, we are chucking £1 from every ticket plus all the guest list money over to our loves at Margate Pride ❤️
The Cocoa Butter Club, Sophie Stirling and Dani St James have their USB sticks locked, loaded and ready to make you sweat your lashes off.
This is the antithesis to a moody techno basement. We’re prioritising FUN. Camp. Chaos. Poppers energy. Big visuals, lasers, disco balls, singalongs, camp pride anthems and a gorjina crowd ready to dance their gay little socks off until the lights come up.
See you on the dance floor, sexies x

@danistjames is back in the co-host chair this week to unpack whether Pride 2026 will be a protest or a celebration. Dani shares her insight from inside @notaphaseorg to discuss the reality behind the corporate pullback, the cost of pride and the dangers for regional events.

Oh that looks like a fun party.
Cockles spring bonnet.
Pop, disco, drag.
Cheap tix. If you can’t afford it just dm. Everyone needs a place to dance and commune with good vibes.
Donating to @thanetgreenparty 💚 it’s the day after the cliftonville election. 🤞
