Glamour UK assembled nine ‘dolls’ – an affectionate term for trans women originating from Black and Latina queer communities or ‘houses’ in the Ballroom scene – to talk about the impact on trans people following the viral moment produced by #ConnerIves’ “Protect the Dolls” design, as well as the importance of resilience and sisterhood in trying times. Just want to extend a massive thank you to EVERYONE for showing me love on my birthday. I have been blessed with the most wonderful angels in this life. The day felt like a nice break and my heart is so full.
