I am not your content creator. I am not here for tomorrow’s Instagram posts. My “why” doesn’t consist of growing my followers. The desperate and uninspired can keep the “sneak peeks” and the spirit of sameness. All they do is check boxes to satisfy others and feed the “need” for immediacy, all while degrading the quality of our work and the creativity in our souls.
Memories fade. But isn’t this why you hired a photographer in the first place?!?
Something important happens in the waiting.
Ok, off my soapbox. I see why a quick preview is fun and something many people do. I’m not saying I will never do one again, but I am saying that faster isn’t better, and sharing something that was real and vividly wonderful on social media moments after it took place, in my mind, devalues it. I believe wholeheartedly that something good comes from waiting for the client and the artist. Give your photo and video team time and freedom to sit in the edit, push themselves creatively, and make something unique and special for you.
Aim higher than “content creation.” Aim for artful work that captures truth in a snapshot of time—something that will be treasured by the next generation.
Something worth waiting for.

What is it about wild landscapes that makes creativity come alive? The more far-flung and foreign the frontier, the more inspired I feel. There is a mystery that whispers in these unfamiliar and beautiful places that is challenging to reconcile with. You can stare at the Tetons all day, or come back to Jackson a million times, yet there is something profound within that limits your capacity to fully comprehend why we are so drawn to beauty like this. Have you felt this before? It’s similar to love. If you truly know it, you can’t fully make sense of it. It’s mysterious and bigger than any of us can comprehend.
Documenting new love against the backdrop of a place as stunning as Jackson, Wyoming, sends both of these ideas on a head-on collision. I struggle to fully capture it all. Real life will always be richer than what we can experience in a two-dimensional world, but this is my attempt to let you in and give you a tiny taste of the beauty I witness.
Margaret & Lawson are gonna be heading back to this special place for their wedding in 2026, and I can’t wait to join in as a guest with a camera, dancing under the shadow of The Grand, and capturing moments their kids will treasure one day.
Grateful to get to call this work. ✌️
There is something so timeless about a love like Elle & Ben’s, effortless, genuine, and deeply rooted in joy. Set against the soft whites of Alys Beach, the endless blue water, and the most delicate touches of green and airy florals, the entire weekend felt like a breath of summer. 🌞
Every detail reflected a sense of calm elegance, from the light coastal breeze to the way everything seemed to glow just a little bit softer. It was the kind of celebration that feels both intimate and unforgettable, where every moment holds meaning and every space feels thoughtfully curated.

Picnic weather, on our minds ☀️ Thinking back to this blue-sky day with Emma & Atticus. A perfect @blackberryfarm afternoon filled with lawn games, rosé, and sunshine before their black-tie evening.

Naomi & Grant marry in the SF courthouse, with sky-sized joy in their hearts.
Partner Photographer, Darius, captured their joy so perfectly that they decided to forego their Palm Springs wedding celebration at the Parker. Naomi later said it was more perfect than they could have ever imagined!
I’ve been contemplative for the past few months over here, taking a break from social media, and trying to take care of my soul so I can pour it into my people and my clients in the year to come. We’ve got an incredible year ahead of us - the busiest to date! In my silence and lack of posting, I’ve never gotten so many inquiries and I question how all this works. I’m gonna continue to stay off this thing for my own sanity but I can’t wait to share more work, new and old!
My Partner Photographers have been working with me for over 12 years and are an extension of me and my brand. I am stoked to share more of their work!
@clarkbrewer approaches a wedding day with a calm, considered eye. Years behind the lens have shaped a style rooted in patience, composition, and the enduring character of film.
His work moves easily between composed portraits and quietly observed moments, always guided by a clear sense of timing and place.
At the center of his approach is a deep attention to connection, between people, light, and setting. The result is photography that feels grounded, thoughtful, and lasting.
Made a quick stop at @thepolobar during my recent NYC trip. It’s been a favorite ever since my time living in the city for its effortless, timeless elegance and unmatched ambiance for special events, like this 2024 birthday celebration for @marchstephanie
Venues like this, full of character, are what make the planning process truly special. Beautifully captured by @clarkbrewer
