Cabyll-Ushtey 🐴
From my illustrated publication of Briggs’s Dictionary of Faires: Banshees Boggarts and Other Folklore Creatures by the late great Katharine Briggs
Cabyll horses are dangerous water spirits dwelling in rivers and lakes, they are shapeshifters, luring people for a ride before pulling them down jn the watery depths

Turned 36 in wales last week and what was not on my bingo card was bumping into a friend I hadn’t seen in 10 years and us spending my birthday entering a vicar of dibley themed pub quiz. We did not win but I got sung to in welsh and given a curly wurly. Love wales. 🏴
