The flow invited movement, connection, and a sense of ease throughout the evening. The result felt less like a formal reception and more like a true family gathering... exactly as the couple intended. It started with something familiar... long family dinners where everyone gathers around one table and no one’s in a hurry to leave. That idea became the foundation for the entire design. Tables were extended to bring every guest into one shared layout, creating the same sense of closeness and connection. A palette of soft neutrals layered with deeper fig tones added depth, while the space itself was fully reimagined to feel lighter, warmer, and entirely transformed. The moment the candles go down and the room just... exhales. Honestly, this one got us. Blush and peach floral climbing the walls, that green overhead, candlelight filling in the rest... it all just clicked. We always say the florals should feel like they belong there, not like they were placed there, and this night was a perfect reminder of why we do what we do. When it works, you feel it before you even sit down. We're just honored to be the ones who get to create it. Lighting is single-handedly one of the most important design elements. When the design + production team felt something was missing above the sunken lounge, @socialsupplydesign knew they had the perfect solution. They drove back to their DC warehouse the night before the wedding and returned with these globes that were absolutely perfect for the space. That kind of teamwork says a lot about the people behind the scenes. And it felt especially meaningful for a family the Social and KCC teams have worked closely with through several milestone celebrations.
