An early memory popped up for me this week .
I recalled a time when I had painted an egg to roll down the park hill with the local kids on Easter Sunday.
(I went to Sunday school & church when I was little)
All the other cute children had painted pretty pastel coloured pattern eggs, mine was simply painted black 😄 🖤

I wanted to create something representing my interpretation of the release, a sort of chaos magick, created by mythical creatures, which fits perfectly with my corvids obsession.
I collected & photographed organic matter & tapes, together with shots of my local crows, then exported and manipulated them into a collage of freakish other worldliness of weird energy… at least that was the intention.
No Ai was used in this process.
“x-rs 25” / (“x-rs 22”) / “Schall und Rauch” is available from today on lathe cut vinyl.

Short Cuts is delighted to confirm the details of our third 7” release, out on 4th February.
We welcome to the label Stuttgart based artist Joachim Henn, who records as Perrache (@perrache93 ). Their music has previously been released on Polytechnic Youth, Anticipating Nowhere Records, superpolar Taïps and Taping Desk-o-Phon.
This double A side single, as with our previous releases, is available as a very limited 2-track lathe cut 7” on black wax, cut by Ben Soundhog (@plastidisc ). The mastering is by Antony Ryan @ Red Red Paw. Each vinyl purchase on Bandcamp comes with the digital files, including one bonus track.
The bold musical approach is complemented by some striking original artwork and design by Glasgow based artist Clair Crawford (@clairhotgem )
There is also a first radio play of one side of the 7” TONIGHT on the “It Came From... Enclosure Three” show - Mad Wasp Radio from 9pm GMT.

Hey friends!
A few of you were asking about the archive for the Peace mix I made for Keith on @nts_radio , that’s it online now, you can find the link in my bio.
Some of you kittens will know which track JD Twitch produced under a pseudonym, but some of you won’t, see if you can guess which one is his without searching?
Sidenote: I hope it doesn’t come across as too self indulgent for including an old track of my own, he gave the LP which Kelvingrove was on a lot of support, so I think it’s ok, and it very much fits the theme, there’s also an extract from a second one, featuring Adele Bertei, I know he was a huge fan of Ms Bertei’s.
Despite Keith leaving us, I still keep thinking ’I hope he likes it’, as I know how particular he could be. I’d like to think maybe all our tributes are reaching him somehow, along with all our love across the dimensions. 🤍
