Construction and demolition waste is one of the largest waste streams in Philadelphia – but it doesn’t have to be ♻️🏗️ Circular building practices are changing how we think about materials, reuse, and the value already embedded in our built environment. On May 15, Circular Philadelphia will join @greenbuildingunited Sustainability Symposium to discuss how circular construction strategies can reduce waste, preserve resources, and rethink the systems behind how buildings are designed, used, and eventually deconstructed. If you’re interested in sustainability, the built environment, circular systems, or rethinking how materials move through our cities, we’d love to see you there. 🔗Learn more + register through the link in bio! #GBUSustainabilitySymposium #CircularEconomy #BuiltEnvironment #CircularConstruction #SustainableDesign

Most people would never guess these are real job titles in the circular economy right now. An IT Operations Architect. A Packaging Category Director. An admin role at an organization dedicated to eliminating waste entirely. These aren’t future jobs. They’re posted right now. A lot of these roles don’t look like what people expect when they think of a “sustainability job”, and when you are trying to find a job that is making a positive impact on one of our most pressing challenges: waste. The ILO estimates 7–8 million new jobs will be created in the circular economy as the transition accelerates. The roles are already here, and they’re only growing. Next time you’re job hunting in this space, search for keywords like: reverse logistics, extended producer responsibility, remanufacturing, product stewardship, packaging compliance or follow along here. We share circular economy job opportunities every month. 🔗 Link in bio to subscribe #CircularEconomy #GreenJobs #SustainabilityCareers #ClimateJobs #JobsWithImpact

Philadelphia help us spread the word about real waste reduction. Our event is one week away and we want you to participate and share your insights on packaging waste reduction in our communities. Are you a #West #philadelphia food or beverage sector business? At our last Philly Unwrapped event, we highlighted a case study in what practical change looks like. We offer insights about thoughtful packaging decisions, operational shifts, and a commitment to doing better. And the result? Reduced single-use waste. Improved efficiency. Stronger alignment with community values. If you’re a Philly food business wondering where to start, this is your sign. Start with the Philly Unwrapped Community Waste Reduction Toolkit. Then join us on April 14, 2026 for our next Toolkit Event: Philly Unwrapped: Cut Waste. Cut Costs. Protect Public Health and Local Vulnerable Communities. This is about building a food system that works for businesses and neighborhoods alike. 📘 Download the Toolkit 🗓 Register for April 14 🔗 Links in bio Register today while seats are still available.
