May 24 is our next pop-up "concrete" protected bike lane on 3rd & Pine.
Drop by anytime between 10am-1pm to talk to us about how concrete curbs make the street safer for everyone using the street.
🥨 ☕️ We'll have coffee and soft pretzels available for free!
If you'd like to volunteer while you're with us, you can help hand out educational fliers. Simply ask when you arrive :)

Yesterday PBA organizers met with Jamie Gauthier’s office at City Hall to deliver over 1350 petition signatures demanding safety and infrastructure improvements on West Market St. following a string of pedestrian fatalities last fall.
Jamie’s team shared the ambition to end the traffic violence that has been all too prevalent on Philadelphia’s streets. Thank you to Jamie and her office for her continued support of a safer district 3 for all road users.
We look forward to working with Jamie’s office amongst other city and state officials to bring real change to the corridor.
Glenn Colville was killed in a hit-and-run while biking in the Aramingo bike lane. The plastic flex-posts did nothing to stop the speeding driver that killed him.

Temporary barriers. Permanent proof.
Pine & 16th have a temporarily protected bike lane and everything is working out just fine.
Time to make it real: hardened protection on Spruce & Pine. 🚲
Join PBA for a monthly meeting in your city council district! We have active monthly meetings in Districts 1-5 and would love to recruit organizers to lead meetings in Districts 6-10. All meetings are open to the public, so you don't need to live in a district to attend its meeting.
Not sure what city council district you live in? Check out our RCO finder, which will tell you your district! Link in our bio.
See you there!
We had a great time on April 11th, offering cyclists a glimpse of what concrete protection in the Pine and Spruce bike lanes could look and feel like! If you support protected bike lanes and want to get involved with PBA, check out our website. Link in our bio.

At 56th + Chestnut, we were serenaded by local band @bigboybrass , who transformed a concrete pedestrian island into a mini stage with their joyful music.
