Still riding the joy from our issue 4 launch ✨ As the year winds down, we’re feeling incredibly grateful for everything 2025 has held for chicken + bread: four issues deep, a growing community, and rooms full of people coming together over food, music and care. This night felt like a real marker of that. 🍗 spreads for @chickenandbreadzine 🍞 When I worked on a university project surrounding the topic of food, I instantly knew I had to reach out to @hopelaurenashley to learn more about the @chickenandbreadzine she founded. This summer, I reached out to Hope again to design assist Issue 4 which explores how ‘food travels with us: through memory, migration, rhythm and change’. Showcasing essays, poems, interviews, photography and art from over 30 contributors from around the world. It has been such a blessing to work with Hope to design a plethora of rich and soulful narratives whilst expanding my knowledge on the various cuisines!
