did you spot us last night on Channel 4’s ‘What Not to Eat’? 👀
the programme explores how we navigate food choices today - with a particular focus on ultra-processed foods and how different snacks behave once we eat them
our sea salt crisps were used in a simple comparison experiment against another savoury snack - both were dropped into hot water to demonstrate how they break down
the difference was striking: our crisp stayed intact, while the other quickly dissolved into a soft, oily mush
the show highlighted how texture and structure play a role in how we experience food - including how chewing helps signal fullness - and why foods made from simple, recognisable ingredients can behave very differently to those made from reconstituted alternatives
we’re proud that our sea salt crisps are made from just three ingredients: potatoes, sunflower oil and sea salt. Nothing reconstituted. Nothing unnecessary
did you catch What Not to Eat last night? we’d love to know what you thought!
