During Cofa House, magic is conjured in abundance during moments of intentionality and presence. When we stand together, hear each other, and allow the spirit to guide us we build a shrine through our individual instruments speaking as one. Many nights, the music is swept away like a sand mandala, never to be heard again. Some nights, we capture a moment and allow it to see the light.
This tune, which has been titled, “Best Week” by
@mattmattraybeam . Matt is seen here singing his soul into the room in Dionysian fashion. The song speaks to me about the way we show up in the world, and the lengths that we go through to exist. Although it’s the “Best Week of my life”, the emotional state is rich and complex with how the effort is essential to feel good about something as simple as the day to day, or week to week.
