Months have gone by in a flash, lots of mundane things have happened, but equally lots of amazing things have happened. Taking care of the boring stuff lets you get to the fun stuff, which is where I'm at for now.
For everyone but the close friends who've already known: I got selected to be an artist in residence @rockynps for two whole weeks!! It has been like a dream that I hope I can remember when I wake up.
I been traveling and hiking and waving around a microphone that gets confused for a dead animal. It is an absolutely crazy feeling to look at a mountain and think "huh, yeah I was just up there the other day"
Would I choose to mountaineer up there again? ehhhh probably not, it was exhausting, and the whole hanging onto a crevice in a rock slab for dear life is a bit of a turn off, but it was kinda worth it on the other hand...
but I digress, I've got one more week in Rocky, I can't record it all, but hope I can do this place justice and strike some gold audio-wise.
