New movie’s out šŸŽ¬ and what a ride it was. It all started last year when Sean and I both lost our cats just months apart. My girl, Virginia, meant the world to me, though I only had her in my life for a short time due to a terminal illness. As Sean and I shared our grief, an idea formed for a film. We’re horror fans, so of course it had to be something explosive, scary, and full of blood, but at its heart, this movie is a story about remembering what we’ve lost and how we move on. What a film it turned out to be. Sean and I have made plenty of horror movies together, but Bury the Cat marks our first co-direction. It certainly won’t be our last. We enjoyed an incredible festival run, and now it’s time for everyone to see what we’ve been working on for this long! I know I’m incredibly proud. This one’s for Virginia ā¤ļø and for my boys Benson and Rigby. The various cat sounds you hear throughout the film came from all of them (and Sean, too). Shoutout to everyone who helped us make the film happen with their time, effort, and talent. If your name’s in the credits, I hope you’re as proud as I am of Bury the Cat, because it wouldn’t have happened without you. Check it out on the @projectperiscopeofficial YouTube page if you get the chance. Link is also in my stories today. I’d love to hear what you think, especially about how it ends. There may be a few different meanings 🤫 Happy Halloween! šŸŽƒšŸ±

What a weekend. @projectperiscopeofficial took Bury the Cat to Columbus for @nightmaresfilmfest and it was a better weekend than I ever could have imagined. We saw some great films, met some talented filmmakers, and had the privilege of screening our film alongside theirs. I’m grateful to my friends: @seannorrisofficial @cperaltafilm and @thememoryslot I often think about how wonderful it is that making movies together is our way of hanging out. Bury the Cat and its festival run were only possible because of their dedication, and with more projects in our future, this really is just the start. I’m also grateful to: @character_studies_ @mattpiano52 @jessevon6 @the_moon_on_fire @nextgen_hoodie @greyseance @haileyhoff_art @_luciano.guzzo_ for their various roles on the film, which you’ll be able to see very soon!

Last weekend, we screened Bury the Cat at @akroncivic for the Akron Independent Horror Short Film Festival. Met some awesome people and saw some great movies. Congrats to everyone who had a film there, and thanks @killervideo1980 for throwing such a great event that celebrates independent filmmakers. Already can’t wait for next year’s fest!

Blessed to have been cast in this upcoming horror film as the lead villain. Unlike the other general type cast roles that I fall into because it’s safe. Working in this type of film allowed me to grow as an actor. Forcing myself to step out of the box and dig deeper The cast and crew of @projectperiscopeofficial were incredible. The experience was amazing and director @andoliver21 was a blessing to work with on set. Knowing the director since a little kid an finally experiencing his capabilities is something that I am grateful for the opportunity. I cannot say enough about the location. The family of @sugarpinesfarm are wonderful. Hopefully we will be able to run with another film in the future. Be sure to follow this production team progress they are all going to be amazingly successful. #actorslife #horrormoviefan #horror #clevelandfilm #ohiofilm #actor #villian #tromateam

Excited to announce a new short film that I filmed, edited, and co-directed with @seannorrisofficial , BURY THE CAT. The Project Periscope team also includes @thememoryslot and @cperaltafilm , who Sean and I could not have made this movie without. Though Sean and I share a director’s credit, Bury the Cat truly belongs to all four of us. This poster was designed by the exceptionally talented @haileyhoff_art We’ll be posting the trailer tomorrow on the @projectperiscopeofficial YouTube channel. More info soon to come. #indiefilmmaking #horror #horrorfilm #filmmaker #movieposter #movies

We are so back šŸŽ„ This rig was inspired by my time shooting news. I wanted something robust but also highly mobile for run-and-gun shoots. Safe to say that I’m very satisfied with the result.
