She wrote this song in 1950. She was nineteen. It was found after she died at ninety-one. I recorded it for Whisky Scented Kisses.
Her name was Mimi Marlowe Jaffe.

If possible, before a record date, I like to perform the music live. We had a three-night run at @frankiesjazz right before the session on Monday which was ideal and most of the compositions were recorded on the first take. The whole album was done in about 4 hours. @sheldonz23 got an amazing sound and was great to work with. 🙏🏼 Sheldon!
