I’ve updated my website and have been looking forward to making some new work in 2026, which I’m excited to share when ready. In the meantime here are a couple of works from my 2024 series For Your Records, a series I first showed in the exhibition handheld, handmade, handoff at Gallery 44.

We are fascinated by these large vinyl prints by Lesia Miga @lesiagm You can see them in person now at Gallery 44 @g44photo in the Member’s Gallery . “Handheld handmade handoff” is on display until Nov 9th. This exhibition features work by Ashley Culver @ashley.diana.culver , Lesia Miga & Gabrielle Trach @gabrielletrach Lesia Miga is an artist, and arts professional based in Tkaronto. Her practice explores the body as a tool and an archive that communicates and performs presence and absence. Her work emerges from personal experiences with grief, and her research can take the form of discussions, rituals, and lived experiences. Printed as adhesive vinyl. #printedattoimageworks #vinylprinting #vinylprint #photography #printlab #torontoimageworks #toimageworks #g44

What the Creek Told Us in on view at @artsetobicoke until October 16th! A huge thank you to @anapalacios.c for helping to guide me in the process of creating this new body of work. I couldn’t have done it without her support. Thank you to all the people who came yesterday to support me at the opening. Really proud of this one. 😊

Earth day is probably a fitting day to share this new project I’m working on as the inaugural artist in residence at @artsetobicoke In August of last year the Mimico Creek was contaminated by a mix of petroleum based chemicals as the by-product of a factory fire in North Etobicoke. The creek carried the chemicals down stream towards the lake, where I was staying at the time near the Humber Bay Area. The spill endangered and killed a variety of birds, fish and mammals, and took months to clean from the creek. I’m currently in the exploration process but have been thinking a lot about scars, healing, the journey of water, and the dichotomy between the industrial land and the pristine lakeshore. There will be an exhibition in September, looking forward to seeing you there. 😊 #earthday2024

Feeling very full and lifted returning from an amazing week at @gibraltarpointto Thank you so so much to @feministphotographynetwork for facilitating such amazing workshops, where we spoke in round circle, shared knowledge with each other and made deep and fulfilling connections together. I learned as much about my own practice as I had the pleasure to learn about other’s. 🌅 @canada.council

Today marks the last day of my three years at Arsenal Contemporary Art Toronto. I’m so grateful for all of the amazing people I’ve met in my time at the gallery, and for all of the awesome opportunities this journey has brought me. There are so many more photos and memories than I can even post, or find in my phone, but here is a snapshot of my time at 45 Ernest. Thank you again for all the support and love you’ve all given me! Excited for the new projects to come. ✨

Winter, from the series Arrangements, 2019. This photo was taken after the arrangement had lasted the whole winter outside. I hope we can come out the other side of this winter looking better.🫂❄ #intheabsenceofpresence #arttoronto #contemporaryphotography #contactfestival2020 #g44 #torontoartist #torontophotographer
