IF I HAD LEGS I’D KICK YOU by @marywallwashere will premiere at @sundanceorg 2025 and we’re over the moon 🌙 If I Had Legs I’d Kick You With her life crashing down around her, Linda attempts to navigate her child’s mysterious illness, her absent husband, a missing person, and an increasingly hostile relationship with her therapist. In the second feature film from writer-director Mary Bronstein, life’s responsibilities pile up — parenting alone, house is a construction zone, countless doctors visits, no available parking — all of which grows into an anxiety that overwhelms every aspect of our protagonist’s life. The audience is pushed into a downward spiral of motherhood where there is never any solution or support in sight. But as its title suggests, If I Had Legs I’d Kick You is also very funny — very darkly… bizarrely… uncomfortably funny. Pedro Almodovar’s The Room Next Door premiered last night at @labiennale and we still can’t believe we got to be a part of it! Working on this film was a dream come true and we wish we never had to wake up from it (and are we awake or still dreaming?). We’ve watched and rewatched his films many a time, often joking about the day we get to cast one, and somehow the day came and our hearts are so full ❤️ Forever grateful for the opportunity to work alongside one of greatest filmmakers and teams. We can’t wait to catch it in New York next month at @thenyff Much love and congratulations to everyone involved!
