Pre-production is such an incredible tool. Lately we’ve been incorporating more planning into every shoot down to the shot and sequence order. This has made a huge difference in finding out what works ahead of time, rather than later in post-production. Having a previs like this helped us pull off an incredibly ambitious day in a 7-hour window. Every shot ended up getting used and we didn’t waste anytime shooting things we didn’t need.
