I rarely post my work and that may have to do with self esteem, but I'm pretty damn stoked on this reel. It ain't perfect, and yeah, it’s extremely drone heavy but I did that to myself when I bought an i2. I have zero regrets.
Thank you to everyone who took a chance on a ginger who probably talked too much, and thank you for teaching me what you could and making all my life decisions 100% worth it. Each one of you is an utter badass motherf****r, and you have my eternal respect. Photo dump January through July. Skiied in Jackson, did Texas things, shot a documentary, played with puppies, ate amazing meals over and over again with people I love. Grew tomatoes so good I found God again. Finally fixed my IT Band and did more mountain adventure than I ever could have imagined. Great fucking time 🤏🏻 10/10.

Throwback to 2015 vagabond wanderings in Mexico, back when I had longer hair, less direction, and dirtier clothes. Climbing, travel, and photography was as far as my ambitions went. Found these two grilling up a feast in the middle of downtown Monterrey; two dudes I didn't understand just living in the moment. Damn good chicken, too.

In 2021 I went on an absolutely bonkers ride across the country telling the story of Jordan Goudreau, a former special forces solider in the aftermath of a failed attempt to overthrow the regime of Nicholas Maduro. We shadowed easily one of the most complicated and compelling characters I have ever filmed. To me, the experience was so much more than a story of an operation gone wrong but about what happens when you meet your heroes. It was quite the ride and couldn't help but post some BTS. “Men of War" is out now on Apple TV. Give it a watch.

OK so originally @dankrauss and I wanted to make an artsy narrative spec piece about the apocalypse and @kyle__lieberman was like “dude, no one wants that” but we didn’t listen to him and conned him into doing it anyways. However, on day 1 of 2 we learned day 1 was all we were gonna get and I was cool with that until a lens from an infamous local rental company malfunctioned. Then the picture car decided to commit seppuku, so right then and there Dan and I trashed our entire script and pivoted to the sexy parts of the shot list while Kyle secretly rejoiced and I learned what all that therapy I’ve been paying for was actually doing.
While we didn’t get everything we wanted, it all came together in the edit and I loathe to admit that Kyle was right all along. This is my first real attempt at producing, directing, or editing anything commercial or automotive related and I just CANNOT express how much gratitude I have to my talented friends and colleagues for giving me their valuable time and expertise. Shoutout to @johnny_bones , @mellowfocal_ and @munoa32 for rallying to the cause even though they had never met me and showing me in real time why they get paid top dollar. Absolute fucking legends.
I can’t thank the team enough for following us into the desert for a wild weekend of no sleep, broken equipment, and hella good attitudes. I hope this gets us all work on something fun because let’s be fucking honest that was mostly the point. Also I hope you enjoyed my cooking.
