We’re getting super close now! It’s hard to describe how excited I am to be a part of this project. In two weeks we begin filming, however we still need some help. As many of you know filming a project is no walk in the part. That’s why we’ve started a campaign to raise money for things such as paying actors, set design, and other production costs. It would mean the world if you could go check the campaign out and be sure to follow along to get cool new updates on the process!
First time at the Getty was pretty awesome.
When I lived in LA I always avoided doing the touristy things because I wanted to be “local”. I was so caught up in playing the game that I didn’t ever actually live my life. Comparing myself to others, and pretending like I was disinterested, when really I was just jealous.
Thankfully I’ve grown a lot since then. It was nice to come back and instead of judging and projecting my own insecurities, taking in the environment and admiring the art instead. Social media can cause us to compare, but I’ve noticed that the outside world does the exact same thing. Unfortunately i had to learn the hard way that comparison, and jealousy don’t ever lead to a happy life. I’m doing my best to become more excited about the beauty of the world and the differences of us all. I also think I want to start sharing my photography again. This time in a positive, communal way. Anyway, sorry for the rant/vent. I hope y’all got something from it 😂
