Growing up in Barrow-in-Furness, a picturesque-yet-industrial part of Northern England,
@___olita was always musical, playing multiple instruments, singing and studying music for several years. Now based in London as a DJ, her music takes from that upbringing and those surroundings – raw, growling, but full of organic textures and sounds, while imbued with a musicality that goes beyond propulsive rhythms. She’s a committed record collector, with genre-spanning taste and an ear to weave disparate styles into hypnotic, solid grooves.
Always infatuated with movement and dance, in 2019, Olita launched her own ballet-inspired fitness brand, Panorama Barre, creating spaces for club-goers and tune-lovers to develop a healthy relationship with exercise. She curates bespoke mixes for her sessions, gaining her strong recognition within the London scene. Deep and heady, she’s since graced dance-floors across the world from the UK capital, to France, Luxembourg, Belgium, Mexico, Ecuador and beyond.
