Why I Love Africa – 🎥 New Film⚡️ Wasn’t planning on making this one… but inspiration struck, and I started piecing something together from our time in Namibia. It turned into a film I’m super proud of. It follows our journey through one of the most remote, raw, and visually surreal places I’ve ever experienced. Here’s a short snippet from the full film, along with a few stills captured along the way. With more Africa trips in the works, I’m glad I finally got this story out otherwise, it might’ve stayed lost forever. Would mean a lot if you checked it out on YouTube and come say hi. 🎥 @sonyalpha A1 + @sigmaphoto #filmmaker #film #cinematic #namibia #africa #travel #sonyalpha #musicbed #sigmaphoto

Two weeks in Patagonia, and the SIGMA 24-70mm F2.8 DG DN II | Art never left my side. When you’re constantly on the move hiking, shooting, adapting to whatever weather gets thrown your way, having gear that just works makes all the difference. This lens handled the extremes and still gave me the flexibility to capture everything from vast landscapes to quiet in-between moments with the crew. It made creating out there feel effortless and will be in my kit every time from now on. #sigma2470mm #sigmaart #patagonia #photography #filmmaking

A journey I won’t forget, from the people to the landscapes it was all incredible. Shot this entire trip through @tiffencompany filters creating multiple unique shots. We had some incredible conditions while at El Fuego, very grateful we got to experience this!

Some of my favorite frames from around the world, narrowing it down to a couple photos felt impossible. Deeply grateful to have been able to photograph so many different countries and cultures and if these images do anything, I hope they make you stop and appreciate the world we live in. #earthday #earthdayphotography #travel #sonyalpha #beautiful

A collection of moments across Guatemala Kept things light on this one @promasterphoto gear made it easy to stay mobile, especially with the hikes up to 4,000 meters near El Fuego where backpack weight was a real concern. The new iota tripod is easily the lightest I’ve used, I was able to carry it the whole time without really feeling it on my back, no joke. Guatemala was unreal, definitely a place I’ll be coming back to.

Los Angeles is easily my favorite city to shoot in. Endless variety across one place, so many ways to photograph the scenery there.

Spent two nights camping on the side of a volcano watching some of the craziest eruptions of El Fuego. Spent most of the time outside the tent with the camera ready, trying to time and capture each eruption. El Fuego is one of the world’s most active volcanoes, going off every 15–20 minutes, so it was just a constant cycle of waiting and capturing. We also made the push up to the top of Fuego itself, which was one of the hardest hikes I’ve done in a while. Thanks to @nomabasecamp for the incredible experience.

Wrapping up two and a half weeks in Guatemala 🇬🇹 We’ve came at such an interesting time to experience the full breath of this beautiful country. The early morning processions in Antigua, El Fuego erupting as the sun sets, the Mayan temples in Tikal, and the stunning culture in lake Atitlàn. It was one hell of a trip and wouldn’t be possible without the abundantly talented @_reginamarcela 🙏🏻 Guatemala has so much to offer the curious traveller, pack your bags and prepare for an adventure. The amount we were able to capture here has been so vivid and full of life. What an incredible few weeks with amazing humans!
