Younger brother came to visit last week so I figured it was the perfect time to send it up to Big Sur with route 1 fully opened. When I was younger I was fortunate enough to visit Greece quite often because my baba wanted to see his homeland whenever he could. I love traveling the California coast line because it reminds me of Greece. Take the trip if you haven’t yet, I highly recommend it. Ps the views only get better as you scroll !

My 2025 Polaroid project. At the beginning of last year, I thought it would be fun to document a year of haircuts in a new way. In a world that is increasingly digital, having something tangible felt special. Over the course of the year I photographed over 150 people and took over 300 Polaroids.
When I started this project I had no idea how special it would actually be. It became bigger than anything I intended. I knew I had to reach out to my friend Nick to document it. Over the next few weeks I’ll be sharing more of this project. Thank you to everyone who sat in my chair and in front of my camera in 2025. Thank you to my talented friend Nick for capturing this….
Having known Marissa for over 10 years and not even being in the creative field when we first met, this project is something I’m incredibly proud of. It feels like a love letter to ourselves, a reminder of where we started and how far we’ve come. Beyond that, I’m especially proud of Marissa for the effort she’s put in over the years asking questions about photography, taking on another craft just to better document her own. Hope you all like it 🫶🏼
