Wrapping up two and a half weeks in Guatemala š¬š¹
Weāve came at such an interesting time to experience the full breath of this beautiful country. The early morning processions in Antigua, El Fuego erupting as the sun sets, the Mayan temples in Tikal, and the stunning culture in lake AtitlĆ n. It was one hell of a trip and wouldnāt be possible without the abundantly talented @_reginamarcela šš»
Guatemala has so much to offer the curious traveller, pack your bags and prepare for an adventure. The amount we were able to capture here has been so vivid and full of life. What an incredible few weeks with amazing humans!
My 2025 favourite photo selects! What an absolutely mental year itās been. Trying to go back over how much of the world I was able to explore, I ended up traveling for 10.5 months which is the most I ever have in a calendar year. It was intense and full of so much adventure, wonder, and sheer beauty. My passport has a few less pages in it now.
Let me know which one you like out of these 12 photos, the last slide has the titles Iāve given to each of them.
During mine and @bryce.way time in Kenya we partnered with @sigmaphoto to capture images of the beautiful animals in the Maasai Mara using the Sigma 150-600mm DG DN Sports Lens. All these images are taken using this lens, it was such a versatile tool to capture these stunning animals. I was blown away by the detail and sharpness of the photographs.
There will be a small film releasing next month on our time in Kenya using this lens capturing the beauty and majesty of the Kenyan spotted plains, stay tunedā¦
Last year I took a trip to Patagonia to capture the beautiful mountain ranges. We spent a week or so in Torres Del Paine, Chile hiking and riding horses before crossing the border into Argentina and hiking in El Chalten. Every time we headed into the Andes it was breath-taking, being able to go on those 20km hikes and see the sunrise burn on the legendary mountain faces is a trip Iāll remember.
Frames from the first place I went traveling after picking up a camera. Indonesia has been a hub for creators for the past decade and in 2022 I made my first trip to Bali to find out what it was like. Itās a beautiful country that Iāve only scratched the surface of exploring and would love to see more beyond Java and Komodo.
The culture and dramatic landscapes make this place so special and I hope it stays for future generations but fear that it may not. Part of growing as a photographer is also preserving location and environments for others to experience it later.
Embrace the unknown and itāll take you to places you didnāt know you would go to. This has been a theme for my life over the past 5 years. Going headfirst into things and figuring it out as Iām falling.
Iāve always known Iām a trial by fire kind of man and despite the amount of chaos itās brought, itās also brought an abundance of excitement and adventure to my life for where Iāve been able to find myself. Iād encourage anyone feeling like things are stagnant, get out and do something to shake it up and see what comes of it.
Living life for the experiences and not the outcomes. Theres no knowing where you might be swept off to!
One of the most memorable moments Iāve had while traveling was this sunset in 2024 in Namibia at @ultimatesafaris Onduli Ridge. Heading out for our evening sundowner we came across these two male giraffes play fighting as the sun set behind them. It was one of those moments where everything lines up and youāre left capturing nature in all of its glory.
I keep coming back to these photos and re-editing them because theyāre some of favourites. The details of how the light was hitting them in this moment and how we had 30 minutes of creating compositions here was a beautiful experience. Grateful for moments like these while traveling šš»
While in Guatemala I used one of my favourite filters that almost never comes off my camera, the Golden Glow Filter from @tiffencompany . In my work personally I love having that subtle golden glow in my highlights making it feel a little more dreamlike. It adds a uniqueness that Iāve come to really enjoy and Guatemala was the perfect place for it with the incredible sunrises over volcanos, smokey processions in the mornings, and golden evening light in the coffee fields.
ICELAND
Itās been a few years since being in this mesmerizing place. The dramatic landscapes and wonderful Icelandic people made this trip extremely memorable. We went to chase the northern lights in September 2024 and saw them pretty much every night while we were there, it was inspiring. Iām keen to go back at some point and see it in another season, what do other season in Iceland should I go back for?
Guatemala took me by surprise by how much we were able to experience in just 2 weeks of being there. The scenes that were captured of the environments we were in to the culturally rich aspects that were so present throughout our entire trip. I love when I travel somewhere and itās more than I expected. Iām glad for the amount of time we had there to really absorb it.
Iād love to go back and experience the entirety of Holy Week to really see what that looks like as I only got one morning of it this trip. Itās such a beauty country with very lovely people and the coffee⦠my god⦠I could fly back just for that āļø

Scarlet Macaws in the clay kick.
We had only spent about 30 minutes sitting here until 4 beautiful Scarlet Macaws came down to sip the salty water in the clay lick. You could sense everyoneās attention snap onto these birds and watch for the entire time they were sitting there drinking the water. A surreal moment during our time at @napowildlifecenter in Ecuador. They were amazing to witness šš»
