Based in Minneapolis, they have been playing songs about horses, not horses, marine life, ocular conditions, office culture, and much, much more since 2021 🤓 Their new self-titled full-length album was recorded and mixed in 2025 by @ahardercommune at @soft.cult.studio in Minneapolis, and mastered by @frankiesunswept 🎚️ ✍️ Lou Shemroske of @selfishteammate writes, “It’s very hard to be funny and make good music at the same time, but BOOBLESS make it look like a breeze. ‘Give your friends all blow jobs and stick n’ pokes,’ they proudly recount of their early twenties on ‘Fish won’t bite’. Though you’d be hard pressed to find the band wax nostalgic - BOOBLESS are wholeheartedly enjoying their second puberty! The band’s playfulness is integral to this album because it makes them completely unconcerned with songs being just one thing. ‘Be yr own dad’ warps into a bridge that briefly takes on 70s wah-wah guitar wailing while ‘Mother’ whips itself into a punk frenzy 3/4ths of the way in. The album culminates on the bouncy non-fiction track ‘Finally divorced!’, which slowly morphs into a simultaneous cover of 4 Non-Blondes’ ‘What’s Going On’ and ‘Stand By Me’ by Ben E. King.
