Vendue avec 20 jeux cultes préinstallés (Metal Slug, King of Fighters, Samurai Shodown… 🥷💥). Elle utilisait une carte SD pour rajouter des jeux, mais le catalogue est resté très limité 😅. Sortie en 1990 au Japon, cette console signée NEC a révolutionné le game avec son écran couleur rétroéclairé, bien avant la Game Boy Color et la Sega Game Gear. Compacte et puissante, elle jouait quasiment dans la cour des consoles de salon grâce à ses HuCards ultra fines. 💥 Et en bonus, la version américaine TurboExpress fait une apparition culte dans Ennemi d’État avec Will Smith ! Hi InstaMutants! For today’s #FightingGameFriday I’m sharing super hero awesomeness… X-MEN : CHILDREN OF THE ATOM One of my favorite comic based animation shows aired in the 90’s and received great acclaim, X-MEN : THE ANIMATED SERIES (1992-1997). I watched the show every Saturday morning without fail, I’d highly recommend it! The popularity of the X-Men TV show led to CAPCOM’s creation of this fighter, which had the shows actors reprise their respective roles using their voices for the game. The focus of the game is based around the X-Men’s 30th Anniversary comic run, FATAL ATTRACTIONS. Not one I read, my X-Men days were mid 80’s and prior. There’s a roster that features 13 characters, 3 of which was unlockable via a cheat code, Akuma, Magneto, and Juggernaut. The roster includes both hero’s and villains:- Wolverine Psylocke Storm Cyclops Iceman Collosus Juggernaut Magneto Sentinel Silver Samurai Spiral Red Omega The game’s fighting action is fast and furious with an extended combo system, crazy air combos, a roll (dodge) ability, and some of the earliest stage transitions I can remember (floors give way to new stage areas). I didn’t play this one much in the era, just initially on the arcade. My real COTA journey began with the MARVEL VS CAPCOM COLLECTION, where it’s now possible to play Juggernaut, Magneto, and Akuma, no cheat codes or inputs required. These new features make it THE WAY to play X-MEN : COTA nowadays. Intentionally or unintentionally, Children Of The Atom was the beginnings of what eventually became the series of MARVEL VS CAPCOM fighters that followed in its wake, and that I’m very thankful for. Greetings from Canada 🇨🇦 and Beyond! Thought I would take a moment to reflect on Final Fantasy 16. It's been awhile since I played it or thought about it. I did enjoy it when I first played it and finished it. I have been meaning to go back and play the DLC but that has not happened as of yet. I do remember the game being a lot more action orientated this time around. And I do remember it. Feeling very Game of thrones and story and character development. Oh yeah there was f-bombs! Hi InstaCollectors! I hope my post finds you well. Here’s a quick reel exposing my spending habits for the past 4 months. I haven’t been spending as much recently, and need to cut back more 😬. Special thanks to @retrogamecity.jp for my Japanese hunts, most specifically NEO GEO Battle Coliseum, KOF 94 Rebout, Street Fighter V Viral Box, R-Type III, Melty Blood : Actress Again, and Batman Returns (it’s been on The Hunt List forever). More thanks to @fighting_game_collector who unknowingly started my hunt for the Street Fighter V Vital Box 🤩🤩🤩 and @the.nerdy.tarantino for the Night Strikers education on Switch, which I never knew existed. I’m really looking forward to Operation Wolf and Thunderbolt again, and it’ll be my first time playing SPACE GUN since the 80’s on the NES! Modern gaming pickups, that I’ve played include… SAROS One of my most anticipated games of 2026. I’ve almost beat the first boss two out of three times (a mere slither of health). The game is stunning graphically with amazing sound. It’s very The Returnal, but I feel it’s harder, or maybe I just suck more than last year 😱😬🤣. So far an 8/10, but it’s early days. RIDE 6 I love RIDE, RIDE 2, and RIDE 3. While RIDE 4 looks phenomenal it’s AI was trash and overall not very enjoyable. RIDE 5 was marginally better than 4, but not by much. RIDE 6 is a return to form. It’s pretty much RIDE meets Forza Horizon, but I’m enjoying it, although the AI is still problematic. 8/10 And finally, DARK FORCES, a great slice of STAR WARS in FPS form that I’m looking forward to replaying again. What is your fave pickup in recent months? Hi InstaKudosHunters! This post is for #SundayDriver with my good friend @bullmoosegaming … PROJECT GOTHAM RACING 3 I’m saving more petrol money today by jumping back into this killer slice of arcade style racing from the dawn of the XBOX360, and an exclusive for that platform, which sadly has no backwards compatibility support. PGR 3 is a game I played the hell out of during the 360 era acquiring over a 1000G of its achievements(I think I only need 4 achievements, which is why I’m returning to it today 👀). The game has an 80 strong garage of cars from the likes of Ferrari, Lamborghini, McLaren, Koenigsegg, Honda, and more…. Only 9 of the cars were unlockables. The arcade style racing action takes place at New York, Nurburgring, Las Vegas, London, and Tokyo (multiple track variants for each). This one is an 8.5/10 for me. Well worth any racing game fans time, and it still looks pretty good some 20 years on! Have an awesome Sunday! My choice for #MidweekGamingFaves with my good friend @unlimitedretrogaming is an Xbox360 exclusive… TENCHU Z This one released at the dawn of the 7th generation, and supports up to 4 players over Xbox Live in coop scenarios. TENCHU Z is different from previous games from the franchise in that you get to create your own Ninja 🥷 and play cooperatively! As you complete missions and objectives your efforts are rewarded in gold, which enables you to buy character aesthetics, abilities, special attacks, and items to aid missions. This entry of the Tenchu franchise sees The House of Gohda on the brink of war with its neighboring country, Ogawara. The House Of Gohda has been infiltrated, and the land corrupted by greedy opportunists. Our role, as new Ninja recruits is to assassinate the spy’s and infiltrators along with anyone else taking advantage of the situation, there will be no mercy for those against The House Of Gohda. If, like me, you’ve played a lot of Tenchu, the only returning characters are Rikimaru who is pretty much overseeing us as recruits and giving our our missions, and Lord Gohda. The corrupt Echigoya clan also make an appearance, and play a part in the campaign. Tenchu Z is the largest game in the series to date and sadly one of the last games in the franchise (the Wii and PSP entry TENCHU : SHADOW ASSASSINS was the last 😞). There are 50 missions with different difficulty settings plus objectives to conquer, which will keep most Ninja 🥷 on their toes for a fair amount of time. I thoroughly enjoyed this one and spent a good 10-15hrs with it, easily an 8/10 for me, but then I’m biased, I love Tenchu 🥷 🖤 Have a great day!
