I really never went out of my way to pick up as many copies of this game that I have over the years, but this Resident Evil has become my most owned game in my collection! I have more besides this even, but this is the current full collection of sealed copies that I have! The last copy I received was the Xbox One Edition of the original release, my good friend @philvalentine85 picked that up for me before Christmas as a gesture of kindness! #shelfiesaturday mixed in with my gaming stories for the week! I finally organised my Resident Evil Collection to one shelf unit, getting everything together has been on my mind for ages, so here we go! I included pics of what I’ve done with the Street Fighter games too!! I have been trying to get my Xbox Resident Evil collection expanded, but I wish eBay sellers would take it seriously when I ask them to package games so that they don’t get smashed on the way to Shetland, a copy of RE2 Remake that I found for a great price sealed didn’t make it here in one piece.. annoying.. Gaming this week has been Sea of Thieves, which is 21 hours away from having the 100% on the launch edition, Assasins Creed Unity and Darkstalkers Vampire Hunter! I am also heading towards my account being 100% complete again! Capcom has just confirmed that Pragmata has hit 2 million sales in 16 Days! Just goes to show that good games get amazing sales numbers and considering that this is a brand new IP from them, these numbers become all the more impressive!! I personally bought the PlayStation 5 edition and the Switch 2 version! Today I wanted to do a post on my very modest Xbox Collection of Resident Evil games, sealed! As I am predominantly a PlayStation gamer, I haven’t really focused on the Xbox One line until fairly recently, so there are a lot of holes in this part of my collection that needs plugged up! I will likely turn my hand at getting the set of Resident Evil 7 copies that I would like first, the lenticular and steelbook being my most wanted and then focus a little further back to the Origins and Resident Evil 2 edition that still eludes me! I guess that I will also pick up a couple of Japanese editions, but this is a little harder to do as recently there haven’t been too many released by Capcom! #ShelfieSaturday Good day everyone, the usual Shelfie pictures for today! This weeks gaming has been about, yep you guessed it, Sea of Thieves. However, I have finished the Merchant Contracts that took me and my daughter 2 months to complete. There were 2 contracts to complete and were massively based around RNG, having to find green bottles floating in the sea or on beaches on the many islands . It was a huge slog but through these, 100 gunpowder barrels and 50 fruit crates were delivered to complete the trophies!! All that’s needed now is the completion of 250 contracts and sailing 500 more nautical miles and I’ll have the 100% on the launch edition! After that I’ll be helping my daughter to the 100% also and finally I’ll have to do some PVP stuff! I hope I get this done soon as I really want it play other things. So far Sea of Thieves has taken 1600 hours to get to where I am with definitely around 300 hours to go! I was having a chat with someone the other day and we talked a little about the Darkstalkers Series! Darkstalkers (or Vampire as it’s known in Japan) is probably my most favourite beat em up franchise that Capcom worked with! I really would love to see a new game at some point, with Street Fighter being the only beat em up that Capcom works on nowadays, I really think that a new game would be very welcome and would break up the years between each Street Fighter entry! I can only imagine how good a new game would look on the RE Engine, I imagine it would have to look a lot like an anime, it just has the right art style for something like that!! This picture has a few of my favourite entries to the series, all factory sealed here, Vampire Savior on the Sega Saturn, Darkstalkers Chronicles on PSP, the DarkStalkers Collection on PlayStation 2 and probably with my favourite cover, Vampire Resurrection on Xbox 360! This post also gives me the chance to use this awesome soundtrack from the second game, Victors Stage! Sealed and unsealed copy of Resident Evil (Biohazard) Code Veronica with this awesome slipcase! One of the best editions for myself, I first saw this thanks to a friend on a trip to Edinburgh. I opened my original copy, so it’s great to now have a sealed copy in the collection! Another game that came with an additional amount of protection with a protective bag. Finally adding this edition of Requiem to the collecting today, the Japanese Special Edition! Without looking inside the box, I guess it’s very much like the steelbook that was released here in the PAL Markets, but the outer packaging is really pretty awesome!! I can’t take credit for getting this, my eldest daughter picked this up for the collection, but the great thing is that I get it into my GamesRoom!! Her display of animal crossing really doesn’t suit a resident evil game!! 😂 This is factory sealed, but it also came with a protective plastic bag around it, so I think I am going to leave that on for double the protection!! #ShelfieSunday Another week past and another gaming update! It’s just another week of playing Sea of Thieves for almost all of my game time unfortunately! I am definitely sick of the game now, it’s a glitchy, laggy mess, but with a mix of OCD and determination to get the 100% completion, I’m still playing it. I am at 96% though, and with only about 11 trophies to go, it’s getting closer… but there is still at least 500 hours left to do.. 😢 My eldest daughter is going through the game with me, so thankfully I have someone to share the pain with! 😆 Pragmata launched this week, I personally still don’t have the physical edition, that will hopefully arrive next week, but thanks to the above Sea of Thieves dilemma, I won’t be playing that for at least another month at best!
