Our closing performance is today at 2pm. Iโm so grateful for the opportunity to explore such a complex character arc. And grateful for the kind words from
@wsj @operawire and Opera Today amongst others!
.
โRobert Frazier, as Reverend John Hale, demonstrated remorse and depth through his vocal prowess, especially in the final moments of the opera as his character realized he had participated in injustice.โ

โAdding to this fire cast of a fire opera was Robert Frazier as Reverend Hale. He led the cast in the psalm toward the end of the scene, and if his presence alone didnโt win the audience over, his characterโs later realization that Abigail is a fraud should have. He also stood out for his staunch bass voice when it felt like most of the men in this cast were tenors.โ

โOther notable singers included bass-baritone Robert Frazier as the Rev. John Hale, who realizes the truth too lateโ
@wsj
.
โTenor Alexander McKissick and bass-baritone Robert Frazier sang and acted well as Reverend Parris and Reverend Haleโ
