This AAPI Heritage Month, we're celebrating our grantee partner Parent-Child Relationship Association, a Sunset Park organization building community with and for immigrant families. What started as a small group of parents coming together for support has grown into 760+ events, 4,000 registered volunteers, youth leadership programs, adult ESL classes, cultural celebrations, social services, and so much more. PCR's work reflects what Brooklyn Org knows to be true: when families have the resources, relationships, and sense of belonging they need to thrive, our whole borough is stronger. From flower bars and ballerinas to beats, bead-making, and picture-perfect family moments, Show Brooklyn Some Love Fest delivered a joyful afternoon in Downtown Brooklyn. Families danced, kids created, moms smiled, and $1 desserts disappeared quickly. For a few hours, Downtown Brooklyn felt like one big block party. Huge thanks to our co-hosts @stardustfund , @brooklynbridgeparents , @citypointbklyn , and @downtownbrooklyn for helping make it all happen. Plus, thank you to @brooklynmuseum for pulling up with the Museum on Wheels, and to all the incredible cultural organizations and nonprofits who joined us with activities and programming throughout the day.
