We are beyond excited to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the incredibleÂ
@Photoville  festival, a visionary organization that has transformed New York City into an open-air gallery where storytelling, photography, and community come together in public spaces accessible to all.
For fifteen years, Photoville has created meaningful spaces for dialogue, connection, and discovery through the power of visual storytelling, and we are so honored to be part of this milestone year.
Be sure to look out for three members of the
@Vital.Impacts community featured in this yearâs festival, including our founder,Â
@AmiVitale , whose exhibition Wild Hope: Rethinking Our Relationship with Nature explores inspiring stories of resilience, coexistence, and renewal across the natural world. She will also be giving a short talk for the opening weekend on Saturday, May 16th at 7:30pm. Please join us if you are in town!
Also featured is our 2026 Fellow and 2024 Mentee, Whitney Snow (
@whitneytsnow ), whose project The Womenâs Grasshighlights Indigenous leadership and cultural restoration through the stewardship of sweetgrass.
And finally, donât miss Jon McCormack (
@jonmccormackphoto ) and his exhibition Elements of Wonder: When Nature Becomes Art, a celebration of the extraordinary beauty, patterns, and artistry found in nature. His book, Patterns: Art of the Natural World, generously donates 100% of proceeds to Vital Impacts.
There are so many incredible exhibitions so if youâre in New York, walk the installations, spend time with the work, meet people, and experience how photography can shift perspective, spark connection, and deepen our relationship with the living world.
