Spent the better part of the day at CBC Vancouver applying some much needed tender loving care to the in house drum collection. Pretty cool to see these 90’s Ayotte’s, 80’s Yamahas and 70’s pearl drums. It was a pleasure to meet some of the people behind the scenes and to spend time in such a culturally significant space. Growing up as a kid in small town Saskatchewan we listened to CBC non stop. It was our connection to Canada and the rest of the world! In my van the radio is always locked on CBC Radio 88.1. Being in the space was a little overwhelming, I didn’t realize how much CBC means to me until I got left alone in the room to do my thing. Goosebumps. Long live the CBC, it was an honor to spend time with y’all. Rock on forever!

Fun times at @raincityrecorders with @julia.geaman and her band @tribunaldoom - always a pleasure working with @jessegander and @blackoutmcleod , legends of RainCity! Today we were dialing in Julia’s insanely cool custom configured @yamahacanmusic Hybrid Maple kit. These drums were ordered by myself at @rufusdrumshop in 24x14 - 13x9 - 16x16 - she also has the 18x16 but we didn’t need that one today. Topped off by a Yamaha “concert” snare some crispy @sabiancymbals and @evansdrumheads . Julia is swinging the @promarksticks rebound 5B. A classy rig for a classy gal. Rock on forever my friends. Go Oilers and long live Rain City!!

Wonderful times tweakin’ the tubs for my best pal @tristandrums at the exquisitely unique and dreamy @oclstudios with grand wizard @joshrobgwilliam behind the wheel. This one was extra special. @ghosts.of.modern.man are one if my all time favorite bands. This stems back to when they were pillar. Possibly the greatest band to claim Regina. In my opinion anyway. And there are A LOT of great Regina bands. It’s crazy how good they were live. I feel they never got true justice on record. Hopefully this reunion of the band brings some redemption and represents their sound more accurately. Thanks for having me dudes! It was a legit honor. We used a 70’s Ludwig BD, 60’s Rogers toms and @marstimeskatecoffee 70’s Ludwig hot rod lm402. 🙏everyone!! Love you all.
