Introducing our second stage and lineup for May 23, featuring ambient/dubstep and bass forward sets from Petite Syrah, R A L L Y, and Dj Screendoor. More about the artist and set times. Petite Syrah • 10:15-11:45p @marinadeinthesarahnade eases into downtempo terrain inspired by the transition from winter into spring — weaving together sounds that have percolated through a season of personal growth. Expect earthy, globally influenced textures and rhythms designed for spacious internal movement, with a touch of playfulness. R A L L Y • 11:45p-1:15a @r_a_l_l_y_.ogg emerged from the timberline. Inspired by his experiences navigating our relationship to nature and energy, of mountain and femme, how does our ancestral heartbeat emerge through syncopation and repetition? R A L L Y is a bass forward, cross-genre producer and DJ currently residing in Portland, where he applies 16+ years experience to teaching, producing, and performing. His monthly SUBTLE Radio show, Pattern Recognition explores dark garage, UK dubstep, breaks, electro & techno to find the threads that connect the forefront of underground & left-field bass music. Dj Screendoor • 1:15-3a @djscreendoor is a Portland-based DJ and Midwest ex-pat known for marathon sets across the forests, warehouses, clubs, and underground spaces of the Pacific Northwest electronic music scene. DJing since 1996, he developed a distinctive style through decades of residencies, afterhours, loft parties, festivals, and deep underground dance floors. His adventurous approach blends underground house and techno from Detroit, Chicago, and Berlin with touches of minimal, disco, breaks, and ambient, pushing dance floors into psychedelic and unexpected territory. He is also the founder of Disposable Commodities (DIS/CO), an anything-goes techno and electronic label launched in 2014. —————————

May 23, Pulse X Be Yourself team up for the first time to bring a proper night of underground dance music and techno. Featuring a very special guest, Berlin techno heavyweight and Berghain resident Fadi Mohem, making his Portland debut. With support from Ana Sia and a special b2b from Moussa and UNDSCLSD. Viz by : Hasmood About Fadi - Early in his career, he received support from Sebastian Szary of Modeselektor and now holds a residency at Berghain. Raised in the outskirts of Berlin in Spandau, Fadi Mohem developed a passion for electronic music in his youth. Exploring the city with a desire for graffiti and urban culture, he made his first steps as a DJ and producer in 2011. His studies in Soundengineering and the subsequent work as a Mix & Recording Engineer granted him a set of technical skills that improved the sound of his own productions. Influenced by early Detroit techno and Berlin dub techno, drum’n’bass and idm. His productions and sets are united by a constant lookout for groove, flow, reduction and repetition and follow the urge to surrender oneself solely to the music. With a quick workflow as a producer, he likes to play out new unreleased tracks in his DJ sets to establish a bridge between the dance floor and studio. Paired with quick and razor sharp multi deck mixing, his DJ sets keep building and building with a forward drive and the goal to create a unifying experience on the dance floor. @fadi.mohem / @ana_sia / @krm.moussa / @undsclsdj / @hasmood Mark your calendars and join us on this special collab and booking, for your Memorial Day weekend rave fix. 🚨 Limited Low inc. / QTBIPOC tickets available 10pm - Late Sound: L-Acoustics. We’re excited to see you all tonight. Here are tonight’s set times, also good reminder to check our COC and get familiar with it. We also want to acknowledge and support today’s general strike. Please do what you can, in your own capacity, to contribute and support it, whether that means reducing your spending or limiting support of large corporations, that should be part of our on going strike. Most Portland events are produced by small, local teams, we do our best to create a safe space where we can gather, share, and be in community and get what we need from the dance floor. If ticket price is ever a barrier please don’t hesitate to reach out🧡
